MONTIC INTRODUCES THE WORLD´S FIRST VERTICAL AMUSEMENT PARK

SKYPARK of Germany based manufacturer MONTIC HAMBURG is a spectacular new invention, that will be presented at this years IAAPA show. SKYPARK is a new amusement concept that gives amusement parks the opportunity to expand their attractions program skywards. In times were efficient use of space is an important issue, the SKYPARK offers a welcomed solution. The steel structure between 150 and 300 feet height with pyramid shape will accomodate up to ten unique rides all at different levels. Using one single structure for all rides results in a very small footprint. Parks can decide just how many rides they wish to install, with the possibility to exchange or add more rides in the future. The SKYPARK development opens the gate towards new goals in vertical attractions.

One of the highlight rides is the SCAD Dive, a controlled, but unattached free fall. The free fall feeling is real and smoother, compared to any other free fall ride known. Other rides are a fast action cable slide circling its way to the ground, a balance drop, a rotation swing and many more to be released. It has recieved approval by TUV Safety Institute in 98. Other features like multi level panoramic platforms are part of the SKYPARK programm. The SKYPARK concept has the potential to point towards a new trend in the amusement industry.
